In this design, we interpret the Beijing East Road to Yan’an Road section as the north-south boundary of today’s main Bund section in Shanghai. The eastern boundary reaches directly to the river, while the western boundary echoes the Wanguo Architecture Group. At the north and south ends, large-scale green spaces are placed, isolating the main Bund section. Viewed from above, this unique urban texture appears as though it was carved from stone, sparkling like a gem. Backed by history and embracing the future, it redefines the Bund as a clear and recognizable urban salon for the city.
