Shenzhen Sea World Culture Art Center

Client: Shenzhen China Merchants Property Co.
Completion time: 2011
Project Size: 63778 m²
Location: Shenzhen, China

The design is centered around a main corridor that runs through the middle of the site, connecting the museum clusters distributed on both sides. The designer aims to create a unique sense of community space, with the commercial area set within a circular commercial zone at the center of the site. By elevating this circular zone with steps, it extends towards the mountain, achieving a visual connection that faces the mountain view and is backed by the sea. The elevated streets also create more space for shops. More importantly, this height difference creates a landscape effect, with the museums, shops, and cafes serving as interconnected scenic elements.
