Breaking away from the traditional approach of mixing different types of populations in a general hospital, this design addresses the distinct needs of various groups by forming four zones and nine centers in a crosswind-shaped plan. The compact layout and flow of movement enhance operational efficiency, while the open park-like clusters embrace all directions. The shared spaces for outpatient, inpatient, and clinical think tanks are arranged at varying heights, complemented by energy-efficient and safe window designs of different sizes, giving the city a unique identity. Courtyards and scattered sky gardens bring sunlight, fresh air, and views into every consultation room and ward. The integrated underground design of the riverfront planning road not only creates a smooth underground transportation hub but also reclaims the riverfront park for the public.
